Description: 

Lilium ‘Maldano’ bursts into flower in July and August. A flamboyant pink and heavenly scented bloom, she has a bright yellow centre and contrasting orange anthers. Oriental Lilies are often referred to as stargazers as their characteristic is to open their large and fragrant flower heads upwards to the summer sky.

They are wonderful in the mid herbaceous border and perform brilliantly in containers where you can give them the acidic soil they prefer and your soil is alkaline.

They make excellent cut flowers, filling rooms with their fresh and heady aroma.

Additional Information & Planting instructions:

Grow in full sun in acidic and well-drained soil. Plant rhizomes 8-12cm deep and 10-15cm apart. Cover with soil. Prefers well drained soil. Plant in the spring and cut back in autumn when the foliage has died down.
